In October of 2022, Sintop's light boxes are passed UL test and authorized to produce commercial Displays .
The independent agency UL is one of the most authoritative product safety testing agencies in the United States. Since 1894, it has been inspecting components of various machines and systems to assess their suitability for industrial/commercial use. UL certification is one of the prerequisites for a product to successfully enter the North American market, and safety performance is an important consideration in determining whether a product can obtain UL certification. ▌ "As a result, Sintop has become the first light box manufacturer to obtain UL certification in the store fixtures industry, which makes us very pround." Grace said, "This certification once again proves to our customers that Sintop produces The absolute strength of electrical appliances.”
In order to obtain this certification, Sintop engineers have made great efforts. First idea from the client was a hand draft drawing with description.
Then, Sintop created drawing very quickly as imagine below and sample was made accordingly.
But base on sample reviewed with UL team,we were told the outlet is not allowed on each light box. Then removed the outlet and keep power cord on each light box . After a few discuss and sample reviewed back and forth with UL team. We add Grounding/Earthing and full check all screw connectings. We finally past UL test.
Through these measures, Sintop greatly improved the safety of the light box. And in Sintop's on-site inspection, we have conducted a large number of real tests to show that not only the light box, but even all the electronic accessories or iron accessories matched with the light box have excellent long-term safety performance and service life.
So far, we have 1st type of light box that has obtained UL certification in October.The 2nd type of light box is finished UL test and will be listed in November. We will have more products in the future to Obtain UL certification, which means that our Sintop Display factory can provide almost complete UL certified live products to match our display racks. For Sintop's customers, purchasing integrated live display products can not only save customers' selection time, but also benefit customers. At the same time, UL certification is a necessary condition for products to be exported to the global market, so obtaining UL certification for a single component is also of great significance to those machine manufacturers facing the global market.
